CARTO selected for AI4Cities Phase 2 Sustainable Mobility Project

Last year six leading European cities came together to form AI4Cities  an EU-funded Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) project. The three-year EU-funded project was established in order to find artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to accelerate carbon neutrality.

Following the launch of the Request for Tenders last December  AI4Cities received a total of 97 tenders - 54 in the mobility challenge and 43 within energy. In May we were pleased to announce that CARTO had been selected to continue to Phase 1 of the project  the Solution Design Phase.

Today we are very excited to announce that CARTO has been further selected to take part in Phase 2 of the project and have the opportunity to work on a prototype of our mobility solution proposed within the previous phase.
